Description
Up for grabs we have a very rare first press Blue Note BLP 1570 from Sonny Clark Dial "S" For Sonny featuring Sonny Clark, Art Farmer, Curtis Fuller, Hank Mobley, Wilbur Ware and Louis Hayes. Deep Groove label with RVG, ear and 47 W 63rd street address. This is a very respectable collection file copy.
Vinyl condition is VG+ minor surface wear with light scuffs and scratches, nothing heavy or feelable. Very glossy. Play tested and plays and sounds great. Very minor background noise. I have lightly cleaned the record but it could use a deep clean. Side 1 track 3 has a noticeable mark but does not affect play. See all attached photos.
Cover condition is VG+ all seams intact with no splits or tears. 3 stamps on back cover from original owner. Slight oxidation on cover that might clean off. Very minor wear to the corners. Back top left corner right near the "high fidelity" is coming slightly loose due to age and probably from the original glue coming loose. See all attached photos.
I don't see records like this everyday and especially this rare. I wish I had more albums like this to run along with this title.
All records shipped outside of original sleeve in a poly to keep from cover splitting during shipment.
