Jacket : VG-

Very light cardboard jacket in acceptable conditions: traces of previous yellow tape glou on front cover which has been restored on the lower seam because of discoloration caused by pealing off some tape. The flat edge outside the open seam is in very good condition just with a minimal tear of 2 cm.

On the back, along the lower seam the same pealing has produced a surface wear for 15 cm (see scan).

Remains of yellow glue tape ot top centre. Ex shop sticker still present.

Spine with general minimal wear, but not open or damaged.

Vinyl : VG

Under a strong lamp the vinyl is still shiny, with a few rubs and a few light scratches on both sides, which produce a light background noise with occasional clicks and pops. On side B there is a transversal light scractch, which can be touched with the fingernails and produce a repeating click for 3 tracks, but not invadent.

Catalogue/Label :

LP 10" ESQUIRE 20-028 (UK) original first English pressing. Deep groove labels shows some light damage due to the removal of a sticker, on both sides (see scans).

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light.

NM (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues.

VG+ Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
