Rare Led zeppelin '1' 1969 1st 'SUPERHYPE' pressing!!!!
THIS IS TRULY ONE OF THE GREATEST DEBUT LP'S EVER!!!!!!
Just as this monumental debut was first going to press in 1969, a last minute decision was made by the band and manager Peter Grant that the greeny blue text on the front just wasn't the right look for this mean rock 'n' roll band. So they immeadiately changed it to a much more violent and announcing orange text which would leap off the sleeve. As a result, it's said that only a small shipment of no more than 2000 with the turquoise sleeves ever left the plant!!!
Right, with my description i am going to be 100% genuine and honest about the overall condition and i have provided 10 photos so you will not get any surprises when you recieve this amazing album!!!
The beautiful laminated sleeve is in very good+++ condition, black and white with TURQUOISE 'LED ZEPPLIN' and 'ATLANTIC' sign on the front cover with grey stripe running along the bottom. It only has a few small laminate wrinkles on the front and has no tears, pen marks or stains at all!!!
The spine is NEAR MINT with all four edges sharp, the opening has a tiny 1cm split running along the bottom edge but can hardly be seen by the naked eye!!! (see photos)
Very good +++ vinyl, a few harmless scuffs when closely inspected and a couple of minor hairlines.
EXCELLENT red and plum SUPERHYPE 1st press labels and has very minimal, barely visible spindle marking.
I have listened to the album all the way through and the audio is excellent considering it's age. It only plays with a little crackle and light pop every now and again between some songs. But i am sure that with a professional clean you could reduce these sounds a great deal.
Also comes with original poly-lined 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS' inner sleeve in NEAR MINT condition. Very clean, COMPLETE and VERY COLLECTABLE!!!

side one 588171 A//1, 1-1
side two 588171 B//1, 1-2
