According To Back Of Album: Gathered together in this album are a string of songs, which have taken five teen-agers from obscurity and New Haven Connecticut, to every major city in the United States, and winning them fame and fortune. For the now famous Five Satins, the climb up the proverbial ladder of success was very short and very sweet. It began with 5 fellows harmonizing and singing their versions of the current hit songs. Somewhere, somehow, a little of their own character began to infiltrate the melodies, and with new words the songs began to develop into entirely different ones.
