Own a piece of Hardcore history. The Fix were an American hardcore punk band from Lansing Michigan. This record was originally owned by John Fox guitarist for DC Hardcore band UNITED MUTATIONS. UM's first EP was an early Dischord Records release!


First pressing of Touch & Go #5 — “Jan's Room,” by Michigan hardcore punk band The Fix.

This EP also includes its original single-sided 8x11” insert with lyrics. Record and outer sleeves are all in great shape. Insert is in cherry condition for the exception of a small dog on one corner. This insert is also the spray painted version with the word "Straight Edge" written on the back. So that's kinda cool. Recorded in July 1981 at Musiclab, Los Angeles.
Track B1 listed as 'Signal' on back cover & insert and as 'Signals In Distress' on label.
One time pressing of 1,000 copies.
Issued with 1 of 2 different lyric inserts, one is referred to as the 'spray paint' insert and some also had additional drawings added. The other is a copied sheet with typed lyrics and a picture of a mace. The second insert has a thank-list whereas the first does not.
