MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK DECCA RECORDS ADVANCE TEST PRESSING - Hoagy Lands "Baby Let Me Hold Your Hand"/"Baby Come On Home" ( Decca Label with no catalogue number). I'm not too sure of the recording date for this particular item, but as it came with a batch of Decca Test Pressings all dated around 1964/5, it must be around this time. Both sides of this item are fine examples of slow classic Northern Soul, the "A" side being the most familiar(The Animals had a version entitled "Baby Let Me Take You Home"!!). Both sides of the record play OK, but there is light background "crackle" at times that might be reduced with some professional cleaning. As far as I know, Hoagy Lands NEVER released these songs on a UK label(Unless someone out there has a better knowledge of his recordings), so I'm guessing that this item is particularly rare.
