Description

 Yeah, here's an obscure single I picked up on the Houma label out of Houma, La (#1015).  I found it with a bunch of other 45s on the label, and they were all Country or Cajun sounding.  This one is by Tommy Jones And The Swinging Pharoahs, presumably a local Soul band.  Not sure if they were white or black, but they left behind a pretty good original called "It's Too Late".  A cool mid/up tempo number, with solid horns, some nice stops, and a good male vocal.  Flipside is another original, tho not as interesting, called "Come Home To Me".  Listen to it at my website Jones.
