RARE VA SOUL FUNK Loud Records JAMMIN JOE REALM Private Things 45 Johnny Proctor Shipping Info   Description SCARCE vintage 45 rpm single: THE JAMMIN’ JOE REALM – “Private Things” b/w “Deep In It”; released on Loud Records Inc., Richmond, VA (stock number etched in the matrix – JRR-001; obscure Virginia soul/funk release by Johnny Proctor, who is better known for a few scarce power pop singles; songs written by Proctor (vocal and guitar); the trio also includes what appears to be a pair of sisters - Sherry Sabin – Bass; Georgeann Sabin - Drums. No release date but circa the late 1970’s. “Private Things” is a slow jam in the great mod soul tradition, with earnest, wailing vocals. “Deep in me” has great overblown drums and growly ‘uuh!’ vox. CONDITION: Very Good (record labels have a bit of minor scuffing; vinyl is mint on the “deep” side; “Private” side has a scratch that looks moderate but only affects play with a few occasional pops).

(Modern Soul, Southern Soul, Funk, Private, Slow Jam, R&B, Female Drummer, Local & Regional Labels, Virginia, 1970’s, Vintage Vinyl, Collectibles, Memorabilia).
