Description
A very rare a 1946 78rpm copy of A Trip to Slumberland Parts 1 and 2
the only 12" by Vogue - featuring the Vogue Players & Vogue Recording Orchestra.
The disc has some light surface scratches, and In photos #3 and #4 you can see a close up of both sides of the disc to show what looks like a tiny chip, with zero sharp edges, and is almost certainly a manufacturing defect.
On side two there is another manufacturing defect "in the wax" on the trail-in that is so small it refuses to be photographed. Nevertheless this disc is a "rarer than hen's teeth" S100,
It is priced with its deficits in mind at $925. if you can find one priced less (and it’s not a reproduction) snap it up). If you buy this and it does not satisfy we'll arrange a return.
Coming up next up is an awesome R710 “Bells of St Marys” that is autographed under the wax by Don Large, the recording artist and Choral Director of Vogue Records. I have never seen or heard of another Vogue autographed under the wax by the recording artist.
