Description
Here is a cool and RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: Record is first pressing and the first ever CHESS LP album, a soundtrack album the features songs by Chuck Berry, a play worthy classic! This original 1956 pressing has the original cover version with the "Chess LP 1425" in the lower left corner (re-issues have the 1425 info at the top), released on Chess records LP 1425 (mono). Has the heavy weight vinyl and the "Long Playing" silver and black labels, disc has many marks but is still a play worthy RARE original.
The vinyl grades VG, is clean and glossy, has a some light marks and a few small more moderate marks, has been PLAY TESTED! Both sides play with very good sound quality, some light surface noise and a few errant pops but no skips, no jumps, the vintage Rock n Roll really comes thru and is an enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG/VG+, is clean and bright and has gloss, edges have light wear and had splits neatly repaired with clear tape, corners have light wear, back has sticker blemish, no stains, no ring wear, overall minimal age discoloration, no signatures or writing.
