“Message to the Grass Roots" on ALL PLATINUM RECORDS ( MX-100 )
Quoting from the liner notes:
"The enclosed album contains what is probably the last speech of Malcolm X prior to his order of silencing. It was delivered in November of 1963 at the King Solomon Baptist Church to a capacity audience of grass roots leaders from cities all over the United States who had been invited to Detroit, Michigan by the militant Group on Advanced Leadership (GOAL) to meet and decide upon the course of the struggle for Black militants for months to come."
This record, a historical document of the civil rights era, came from a buy-out of a long-term record store which yielded unexpected treasures in storage. It is factory sealed with no cut-out notches or punch holes.
You would have a difficult time locating a USED copy of this record album, let alone a SEALED specimen such as we have here. Actually, this auction item is a museum piece. In my humble opinion, it should be framed in sealed condition and preserved for posterity.
