JOHN COLTRANE “A LOVE SUPREME”
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Superb 1968 vintage LP pressing of 1964 immortal jazz classic; Impulse Records (AS-77 Stereo). Complete with original Impulse Records custom inner sleeve. Magnificent sound dynamics emanate with splendor from this 50-year-old pressing!

Matrices: Side 1...AS-77 A (etched) VAN GELDER (machine-stamped) STEREO (machine-stamped).
Side 2...AS-77 B (etched) VAN GELDER (machine-stamped) STEREO (machine-stamped).


Gorgeous glossy gatefold cover on heavy cardboard with inside liner notes by John Coltrane himself—a man whose extraordinary talent was compressed into only 41 very short years of life.

Recordings just don’t get better than this masterpiece of jazz ingenuity.

MINT-/STRONG EXCELLENT Cover!!! Only the slightest evidence of tiny corner point dings.
STRONG EXCELLENT Vinyl!!! The vinyl is VERY CLEAN. The beginning of each side has only feint popping that diminishes within less than one minute. When the instruments all kick in, there is a rich, full sound that can only come from these superior 1960s jazz pressings. Only during the more quiet lapses do you hear slight popping. Personally, from my own standpoint, the sound dynamics are so robust and punchy that a few minor clusters of popping only lends to the vintage beauty of the two-fisted sound overall.
