This is such an awesome set from one of the Queens of Jazz Organ. Extremely rare and highly regarded LP on tiny label Tru Sound out of New Jersey and recorded either by Rudy Van Gelder or in his studios. It is one hell of an Album comprising hard instrumentals to some mind bendingly deep vocal covers. The musician son this album are accomplished beyond belief and their singing abilities match their playing skills equally. It is sheer quality in no certain regard. This whole album is a superb masterclass in Jazz and Soul combined and always attracts huge interest. The version of stand by me will await your amazement. Be the one to own it. The cover is in quite a good state over all although the seams are starting to wear out and the bottom one has been taped at some point as you may see in the pic. There is also a pen mark on front middle. No record rings or other serious abrasions exist though, but I'll mark it as a safe VG. The vinyl has some surface marks but these don't make any significant sound even in quieter passages as you can hear on the clips. I'll give it a safe VG+ to be sure all the same.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System. MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un played should be Mint. EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
