Description
Original 1966 issue on US A-Square 103/104. The Rationals were an Ann Arbor, Michigan band, led by Scott Morgan. This was their second pressing of Respect, originally the B-side. As it gained popularity, Respect was reissued as the A-Side, with their original song Feelin’ Lost as the new B-side. Respect/Feelin’ Lost was picked up for national distribution on Cameo Records. (See listing below.) Aretha Franklin subsequently recorded her chart-topping take on Respect.
Record is VG+. Both sides plays great. Feelin’ Lost is a top-flight original invoking the Beatles and Kinks.
