RAT'S ROUSES ACETATE:    AUDIO DEVICES INC. RECORDING STUDIOS Records (Mfd in NYC January 27, 1966)   DON'T WANT TO CRY/OH CAROL -  Original 60's Acetate single  -   This is a test pressing and probably a one of a kind item.  I picked this up in the 80's along with a companion Acetate by the same group with a different take of DON'T WANT TO CRY backed by YOU CAN'T DO THAT  (the Beatles song--this is still on eBay but will go off on May 28).  I don't know why they'd want to record such a lame song as OH CAROL, but I suspect that one of the band members probably had a girlfriend named Carol.  This Record has RAT'S ROUSES typed on the Label.  I haven't been able to find out anything about this group  The Labels are in Very Good Condition.  The Vinyl Record has some light scuffing;  it was in a paper sleeve when I got it, so it's been protected for most (if not all) of its life.  It looks around VG, and plays around VG-/Better.  It needs to be cleaned, but I didn't want to do it;  cleaning would definitely help the Sound.  It's a miracle this survived the 60's.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record.  Just click on the BIG MICROPHONE Icon and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP!   Postage Rates have gone up. I can ship this anywhere in the USA 1st Class for $4.00. This should ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $14.00; Canada will cost around $9.00. If this sells to a non-US Buyer, and it sells for $50-$120, it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $6.50 of the $14.95 Registered Mail Fee. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$500, it will have to ship Air Priority Flat Rate Envelope ($30.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $500, it will have to ship Express Mail International, which will cost around $120,  and I'll pay for Insurance. Don't pay for this until you receive my Bill/Invoice. If you want to pay outside of the Paypal system, then I can send this out to you any way you want; (we can work this out later).
