Description
This is a fine copy of a numbered, limited edition 1995 comp/archival release on the UK Tenth Planet label of British group the Rats. The group released just two 45s, notable among them a snarling, oft-comped version of Willie Dixon's "Spoonful" that saw release in the US as well as the UK (in fact, the Stateside release came first). The group is best remembered today for including future David Bowie and Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ronson. The gatefold jacket has creasing along the spine and top seam on the front cover, wear on the top seams, and light corner and bottom seam wear (EX). The liner notes inside the gatefold and on the back cover provide an exhaustive history of the band. The disc is clean, and plays with some light surface noise on side 2 (EX+). The record comes with a booklet with reproductions of news clippings and band pix and promo materials (M-). This copy is #694/1000.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
