Description

THE RAVENS (circa 1957)     This is an original 1ST PRESS 1957 album by THE RAVENS Featuring RICKY on the Green REGENT Record label #6062. The title is "Write Me A Letter."   Originals are largely different from Re-issues in the following ways. 1ST Pressings have a thick, heavy record and jacket (cover). Re-issues have thin covers and records. 1ST Pressings have the cover slick on the back of the jacket (like 99% of the albums back in 1957) while Re-issues have the slick on the front (often exposing a white border). Originals have Very Deep Groove labels while reissues have flat record labels and are usually red as opposed to green.     This original 1ST PRESSING album has a very nice record jacket that does have wear around the perimeter on the back. However, the back is still very white. The front is in excellent shape. Overall VG to VG+   The record as graded under a bright light is in excellent condition with shiny vinyl and great sound quality. VG+ to VG++   PLease see THREE PICTURES below!

A wonderful addition to anyone's record collection!
