Raviv Gazit - ZE ,Israeli Hebrew, Vinyl LP Record
One of the best and rarest synth / avnat / electronic albums ever to come out from Israel -"ZE" by Raviv Gazit.
Raviv Gazit is an Israel-based instrumental electronic music composer with a diverse and clever mix of electronic music, highly charged with rhythmic, urban and ethnic elements.
Gazit was one of the pioneers in the field of Computer & Experimental music in Israel. He recorded his first instrumental album "ZE" (Hebrew word for "It") back in 1988 (Mastered at Abbey Road studios) using Synclavier Digital Music System.
His influences range from Kraftwerk to Tangerine Dream Krautrock & Classical music to Ethnic, Iron Curtain, Short Wave Mystery, Class Info & Paul Nova to name a few.
Due to the adventurous nature of his work and the lack of fan base in Israel for that kind of music the album sales were poor and he was deleted pretty soon after it was released.
This album remains one of the best records of this genre ever to come out of Israel.
