"THE RAY DRAPER QUINTET FEATURING JOHN COLTRANE" LP - Original 1959 MONO heavy vinyl pressing on New Jazz, #NJLP 8228, with the purple & silver labels. "RVG" is machine stamped in deadwax on both sides. The personnel: Ray Draper/tuba; John Coltrane/tenor sax; Gil Coggins/piano; Spanky De Brest/bass; Larry Ritchie/drums. The vinyl is in glossy NM condition with clean labels. Side 2 has a very slight cloudy appearance to surface (does not affect play in any significant way). The thick cardboard cover is virtually MINT: bright and clean, still protected by cellophane shrink wrap with tight seams & sharp corners! Small "RW" ink stamp on back side. There is NO age wear, NO seam splits or seam damage of any kind, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks of any kind, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Clifford's Kappa; Filide; Two Sons; Paul's Pal; Under Paris Skies; I Hadn't Anyone Til You.
