DESCRIPTION
GENERAL: You are bidding on a very nice copy of a very rare original 1970 UK WITHDRAWN 1st ISSUE PROMO PRESSING by RAY MERRELL on the Jay Boy label (BOY 22) "TEARS OF JOY" b/w "SEARCHING" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In generic white sleeve . VINYL: The vinyl has numerous light surface marks, but nothing deep or worrying. Both sides retain their original bright sheen.
LABELS: The labels are in beautiful condition, nice and clean, with no spindle trails, writing, stickers or tears (see scans).
CENTRE: The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There is no spindle wear. , SOUND: The record plays with a nice strong sound throughout, loud and clear, without hiss, pops or clicks. There is the occasional mild background crackle, but nothing intrusive to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
