Description
Coral 65023 promo “Brown Boy/Shake Hands" by Al Sears and The Sparrows VG+ + condition. Not to be confused with the Sparrows group on Jay-Dee, this is actually Clarence Palmer and the Jive Bombers first record. Al Sears was the bandleader. The Jive Bombers rerecorded “Brown Boy” for the Citation label and then finally for Savoy, where they changed it to “Bad Boy” and had a big hit. This is the original 78rpm only release, a very rare item.
