Description
Vinyl is G to G+. Very slight warp. I played both sides from start to finish without any problem. The music is certainly listenable but there is constant hiss and surface noise present, along with vinyl crackle. No loud pops, clicks, jumps, skips, or repeats that I found with the exception of a mild click that appears for a few rotations around halfway through Been So Long.
If you can tolerate (or EQ out) some hiss then you'll likely be satisfied with the sound quality, especially considering the rarity of this original release on Mascot. The bass, background vocalists, guitar, and main vocals are particularly well-defined.
Was not issued with a special sleeve. Will come in a plain white sleeve.
Visually the record isn't terrible. We've all seen trashed 45s and this is not one of those. There are scratches and scuffs covering the surface but the vinyl still has some gloss to it. It's possible that a very thorough cleaning would help with the surface noise. I was only able to do a minimal cleanse.
