Background -

There are records and then there are "RECORDS". This one belongs in the "RECORDS" category. This LP is extremely rare and highly sought after by music collectors - a WHITE LABEL PROMO / SAMPLE Record no less! This STEREO LP features solo violin music written by Bartok and Hindemith and performed by Wolfgang Marschner on the violin. Superb performances! The LP is the very earliest PROMO STEREO record label vintage, made in GERMANY and issued in 1972. The vinyl is in superb condition given it's age, with a few light spider marks on the LP, nothing serious (see details below for more).
  • LP made by RBM Records, in GERMANY

  • LP released / recorded in 1972

  • LP is recorded in STEREO

  • Record Catalog Number: RBM 3013

  • Record Labels are WHITE with black lettering, with the earliest PROMO "Sample Record" STEREO RBM record logos.

CONDITION Details:

The LP jacket is in near mint minus condition! The jacket has NO seam splits. The corners and seams are solid, with minimal shelf wear evident. There is a tiny tear on the back, where the record slides into the sleeve. Both top and bottom seams are partially unglued - the glue dries out over time, this causes the seams to open up - this can be easily repaired by re-gluing the seams. The colors on the jacket are sharp - just gorgeous (see pictures with this listing as they are of the actual item).

The LP is in near mint minus condition! We found that the vinyl looked superb on this vintage LP. There are no significant marks and the LP retains much of the original gloss and sheen. There may be some dust and the odd finger print on the vinyl with no serious marks evident and perhaps a light spider mark or two. There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels. We have never had a better looking and sounding copy of this LP. Any serious collector would be happy with the condition of this rare item. That said, acquiring a vintage LP like this is for the performance and rarity of the LP, not necessarily for the sound quality. A Short Note About LP GRADING -
  • Mint = Only used for sealed items.
  • Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
  • Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
  • Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
  • Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

Don't let this rarity slip by!!!
