Background -
This 10" MONO LP is a super rare vintage item! In general, 10" LPs are pretty hard to come by these days, finding one with the esteemed virtuoso violinist like Nathan Milstein, is rarer still. This item features violin music written by Beethoven and performed by Nathan Milstein on the violin with Artur Balsam on the piano. Superb performance throughout! The LP was made in CANADA and was released in the 1950s. This item is in remarkable condition given it's age (see below for details).-

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in very good condition. The jacket has seam splits at both the top and bottom seams. As can be seen in the pictures, a previous owner used tape to keep the seams intact but the tape has long become unglued and worn away, remember, we are talking about an early 1950s jacket here. The corners and seams are solid, with shelf wear noticeable. The colors on the jacket have a bit of fading due to age - (see pictures with this listing as they are of the actual item).
The LP is in very good condition. Considering the age of this recording, we found that the vinyl looked very good on this vintage LP. There are many light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that is too significant. The LP retains some of the original gloss and sheen. There may be some dust and the odd finger print on the vinyl as well - definitely not a perfect record, there is bound to be some noise on this one, but due to its rarity, still worth owning. There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels. That said, acquiring a vintage LP like this is for the performance and rarity of the LP, not necessarily for the sound quality. A Short Note About LP GRADING -- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
