Please note: for proper balances on playback, all 2-track tapes must be played on a 2-track machine. Playback on a 4-track machine will not give even weight to the channels and may not be satisfactory.

The first reference to this tape I have found comes from the RCA Tape Catalog of July, 1957. It last appeared in the RCA catalog dated February 1961, after which it disappeared (along with all the rest of the RCA 2-tracks). This issue is not to be confused with the 1961 recording by the same artists, which was available on 4-track tape only, never 2-track.
On LP, this recording was initially issued on RCA's full-priced Red Seal label in mono only (LM-2043). It never appeared in stereo on LP until the reissue on RCA's budget Victrola line in 1966 (VICS-1197). Hence, this 2-track tape was its only issue in stereo for almost a decade.
The tape is in excellent condition; its box is in startlingly fine condition, showing only the very slightest shelf wear after 60+ years!
