Description

I am offering a brand new sealed copy of the RCA/ Classic Records LSC- 1934 audiophile pressing on four one-sided discs cut at 45 rpm for highest quality. I don't think you can improve on this pressing and certainly not on the performance. This Reiner performance is considered definitive. This recording has been acclaimed in The Absolute Sound and other audiophile publications in its original "shaded dog" pressing. This Classic Records pressing is of a quality just not possible at the time the original came out in 1958. This is one of the rare times you get a great recording AND a great performance. Usually one or the other is lacking. 
This set comes from my personal collection in a smoke-free home. I am only selling it because I have an open copy to play. I don't see any flaws. There may be some slight shop wear on the shrink wrap, but you would be hard-pressed to find a better one. This set seldom comes up for sale, at least not sealed.
