RCA LDS-6065-THE ROYAL BALLET

Here it is, the Holy Grail of RCA's, The Royal Ballet, all four sides 1s, 1s, 1s, 1s........

The box, the book, and the handbill are all in very good condition for their age.  A few minor smudges here and there, a few gentle creases, but no splits, tears or writing, just 47 years or so of natural aging.  Now to the records.  Let me get the minor flaws out of the way.  Side 4 has a light spindle mark on the label.  I want to emphasize the mark is on the label only, it does not come anywhere near the vinyl.  Also, there is a very, very tiny pressing bubble on the same side which sounds very, very lightly for four revolutions.  If this bubble were on any other RCA, it would not even be worth mentioning.  However, given the extreme rarity of this album in this pressing, I wanted to be as forthright and exhaustive about the description as possible.   Other than those two issues, the record surfaces are near mint.  You could spend over a decade searching for this record (the way I did) and not find a nicer copy......Good Luck with your bids!!!!
