Description
RCA Victor Soria Series LDS-6065 2-LP boxed set, complete with booklet and insert. ORIGINAL 1959 release, NOT a reissue. Ernest Ansermet, conductor, Royal Opera House Orchestra of Covent Garden.
These records have been auditioned in their entirety on a Kenwood KD-650 turntable with Grace F-9E cartridge. Sonics are generally excellent with quiet surfaces, except as noted below. NOTE: these records have NOT been professionally cleaned.

Side 1: 5s pressing, with near unnoticeable spindle marks. 9.5/10 sonic grading.
Side 4: 1s pressing, with near unnoticeable spindle marks. 9.5/10 sonic grading.

Side 2: 1s pressing, with near unnoticeable spindle marks. 7.5/10 sonic grading. 1" scuff that is not audible. Few tiny (1mm) scratches, audible as light pops/ticks. Factory 1mm casting bubble that is audible with light thump for several seconds. Some orchestral harshness at inner grooves. Entire side plays without skips.
Side 3: 1s pressing, with near unnoticeable spindle marks. 9.5/10 sonic rating. Light scratch across entire side that is not audible.

Outer box is in nice cosmetic condition, graded 8.5/10. Several red ink marks on edge and rear, as shown in photo. Inner red holder is whole, but has 2" split seam and shows moderate wear, with light smudges on its surface.
Includes 12" x 12" 26 page booklet, gravure printed in Italy. Front and rear covers show light discoloration (foxing) from age. Interior is in fine condition, illustrated in color and black and white. Includes 6" x 12" insert listing the record tracks.
