Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition, NEAR MINT- condition record which is an ORIGINAL ISSUE on the audiophile RCA LIVING STEREO label---the LP bears the serial number LSC-2400, is an absolute FIRST PRESSING with 1S / 1S stampers (indicating that it was literally one of the first copies off the pressing machines) and has phenomenal sound--it was pressed in 1960, when RCA was making some of the finest audiophile vinyl ever heard! The LP has a NEAR MINT- condition cover with excellent condition surfaces, a split on most of the bottom edge of the record, and a bit of light splitting and abrasions on the top edge and top half of the spine; the vinyl is in NM- condition with some light scuffing which should not significantly affect play. The LP is titled "Ballet Music From The Opera" and features performances of music from four classic Operas: "Aida" by VERDI; "Samson and Delilah" by SAINT-SAENS; "William Tell" by ROSSINI; and "Khovantchina" by MOUSSORGSKY. The performances are by conductor ANATOLE FISTOULARI, who leads the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra. A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this RARE and collectible record!
