Description
An early Shaded Dog pressing (1S/1S) of the very scarce recording of the Chicago Symphony conducted by Fritz Reiner performing Tchaikovslky's 1812 Overture, Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave Overture, Liszt' Mephisto Waltz, and Brahms' Tragic Overture. RCA Living Stereo LSC 2241.
I rate the record EX-. There is a light scratch at the very end of side 2 which produces a few soft repetitive tics. Otherwise the record looks and plays great. The jacket is EX; a little ringwear and a tiny tear in the top seam at the opening.
This is a Living Stereo record that doesn't appear often. It is a very playable copy with stunning dynamics.
I try to grade records accurately. Most records are play graded. All records are inspected visually under a very bright light.
Quoted shipping in the domestic U.S. is by Media Mail. Quoted international shipping is by USPS first class international mail. Heavier packages must be shipped by USPS International Priority mail. I prefer to combine shipping to save costs. All shipping will be quoted at the end of the listing(s). Records are shipped in heavy cardboard mailers designed specifically for LP's with bubble wrap or cardboard inserts for protection.
If you feel that my description of the record is inaccurate in some respect, you can return the record for a refund of the full purchase price (less shipping).
