Catalogue-Number: SB-2041 (LSC-2292)

Original 1st UK pressing on the red/silver RCA Living Stereo Label

Stamper Matrixes: 1M and 1M

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A fine Orchestra recording of lovely pieces. Mr.Munch had a "hand" for French composers (another fantastic RCA-record under maestro Munch is Milhaud's "La Creation du Monde"). This one was pressed by Decca in the UK. Collectors around the world consider the Decca-pressings of RCA Living Stereo titles among the best quality ever made.

I compare my pressings on top notch equipment, using the expensive BENZ MICRO SLR Gullwing MC-cartridge with the Micro Ridge cut diamond and the top-notch Lyra Kleos cartridge. These pick-ups reveal everything from any Vinyl which sometimes can be a curse, especially with 40+ year old records. When I grade a record as Excellent, I am pretty sure many other sellers would not hestitate to call it Near Mint. When I give a record the "Near Mint" grading it is practically flawless. I am collecting Vinyl since 35+ years and own hundreds of records from the day they came into the shops.

The Vinyl: EXCELLENT+

Held up into a very strong light I can hardly see any hairlines. The Vinyl is clean and shiny. The playback is fantastic throughout. A very few low level static tics only in places. The Vinyl sits flat on the turntable.

The Labels: EXCELLENT+

Held into strong light I can hardly see any spindle traces, labels are very clean, bright and have deep red and silver colors. No dirt or stain, no unwanted writing.

The Original flip-back Sleeve: VG+

Laminated on the front, non-laminated on the back. A few laminate creases, one very small laminate split on lower left on back. No unwanted writing, a bit of stain on bottom on back, some tape residue on upper left on back, no rips or tears. Held against light I can see a bunch of "age" spots on the white colored back.

Original Inner Sleeve: VG++

Extremely well preserved. No splits, tears or rips. No unwanted writing. A few creases only. Fantastic.

In case of any further questions please don't hesitate to mail me. I will answer promptly.

Due to the somehow weird eBay policies regarding postage please ignore the postage fee mentioned above. I decided to fix shipping at 7 GBP to anywhere in Europe and 9 GBP to the rest of the world. This includes the fees for "signed for/registered" and also Insurance to make sure the record arrives safely. It also allows to track it during its transit. The record ships from Germany.

I pack my records professionally in stiff record mailers leaving the Vinyl (housed in Nagaoka anti-static bags) outside the Sleeve.

Good luck.
