RARE RCA Living Stereo SB-2003 UK (Decca) pressing Stereo ffss SXL-6119
Monteux conducts the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) - Rimsky-Korsakoff: Scheherazade
Release from 1958, Great sound!
Record plays splendid on both sides, NM- overall! Virtually no disturbances from tics and pops, very quiet vinyl, very muted surface noise. This is a wonderful copy of a great RCA recording made by Decca!
Cover in equally great shape, NM overall, no splits on spines, no writing anywhere. Overall a rather perfect collector's item!
I listen to the record before grading, both sides, no spot listening, both sides are judged for audio quality, flaws et al. All records cleaned 2-3 times (Kuzma washing machine) before listening starts, Nagaoka or MFSL rice paper sleeves for all records when put back into cover. Playback gear: Garrard 401, Ortofon AS-212 tonearm, Shure V15-III cartridge.
Please note, record noise can get even lower with more washing of record.
No return, private sale. But bid with confidence, my grading is conservative. Above all, no nonsense MINT gradings applied to records which are 50+ years old.
