Condition Grading of Vinyl Records
I am somewhat conservative in the condition-grading of records because, due to the high volume of items handled, it is impossible for me to test-play every record. All records are subject to detailed visual scrutiny after professional cleaning; more valuable items are usually test-played. Please see my Returns Policy for details of my no-quibble money-back guarantee which is applicable in the rare event of dissatisfaction, for whatever reason.
I use the basics of Record Collector's Rare Record Prices Guide grading as the the system employed in the condition-grading of vinyl records offered for auction
Postage and Packing
UK Mainland: £4.00 (Special Delivery) subsidised
Europe: £8.75 (International Signed-For Insured)
Americas: £10.25 (International Signed-For Insured)
Rest of the World: £10.45 (International Signed-For Insured)
I offer significantly reduced postage costs for combined multiple purchases. This usually works out at the cost of postage for the heaviest item plus £1.25 (UK) or £1.75 (Overseas) for each additional single LP. I only charge the actual cost of postage plus a small handling charge to cover the the cost of the professional packaging which is used to ensure maximum protection during transit. Most items are sent in high qulity cruciforms; all LPs are removed from their sleeves to avoid splitting. Postage reductions will be automatically calculated on the invoices sent out after the close of auctions. Insurance witll be extra; it is recommended that buyers do pay the comparatively small additional price for insurance when purchasing expensive items; if the insurance option is not shown on your invoice, please email me before making payment if you wish this to be included.

PROOF OF POSTING CERTIFICATES ARE OBTAINED FOR ALL PACKAGES WITH A TOTAL VALUE IN EXCESS OF £25
RECORDED (SIGNED-FOR) DELIVERY WILL BE USED AUTOMATICALLY FOR ALL UK PACKAGES WITH A TOTAL VALUE OF BETWEEN £25 AND £74 AT AN ADDITIONAL COST TO THE BUYER OF 75p PER PACKAGE
INSURED SIGNED-FOR AIRMAIL (OVERSEAS) OR SPECIAL DELIVERY (UK MAINLAND) POSTAGE IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PACKAGES WITH A TOTAL VALUE IN EXCESS OF £40. THE ADDITIONAL COST TO BUYERS FOR THIS ENHANCED SERVICE WILL BE AT THE SUBSIDISED RATES OF £3.50 (UK) OR £4.50 (OVERSEAS)PER PACKAGE.

I endeavour to dispatch items as soon as possible after payment has been received and/or cleared. However, and in particular to allow for the vagaries of the various postal services, please allow 10 days (UK) or 14 days (overseas) for delivery. You should, however, receive your purchases much quicker than this!
