Description

This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


UK stereo pressing of RCA Red Seal SB-2058 by The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, conducted by George Solti. Red/silver spot grooved label, in die-cut gatefold sleeve with integral booklet. Some minor damage to sleeve, see photo. Record and inner sleeve are both in really nice condition, visually near mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips, jumps or repeated clicks,  just little crackles and occasional pop in places. Please note that I have not tried cleaning this record with a vinyl cleaning solution which may remove the crackles.
