RCA VICS 1108-Bizet-Gibson-Grooved Decca-TAS- ED1-Superb.

RCA Victrola Stereo VICS 1108. First Grooved maroon label. Pressed in England by Decca. Laminated sleeve (front). Recorded in England by Decca, issued in the US as LSC 2449. Not issued by Decca in the SB Living Stereo series.

This is the first UK issue.

Bizet, Carmen Suite, Gounod, Faust Ballet Music and Funeral March of a Marionette. Alexander Gibson conducts the Royal Opera House Orchestra.

Both cover and vinyl lovely, superb sound clarity and separation.
