PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE SAME COPY OF LSC-6066 THAT I OFFERED LAST WEEK - THAT COPY HAS BEEN SOLD AND SHIPPED TO ITS BUYER, THIS IS MY SECOND AND LAST CURRENTLY AVAILABLE COPY, IN A BIT LESSER CONDITION GRADE THAN LAST WEEK'S COPY. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION! - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1959 PRESS RCA VICTOR U.S. PRESS STEREO 2 LP SET WITH 'SHADED DOG' LABELS containing performances of Beethoven's Symphony No 8 In F Op.39 and Symphonty No 9 In D-Minor, Op. 125 'Choral' as performed by The Boston Symphony Orchestra. Charles Munch conducting, with Leontyne Price, Maureen Forrester, David Poleri, and Giorgio Tozzi. It is RCA Victor Records 'Living Stereo' catalog number LSC-6066, maroon 'shaded dog' labels, rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, 1S/1S/3S/1S stampers. The set includes a 12-page 12" x 12" book with essays about the works and performances heard. Set comes packaged in a thick cardboard gatefold cover with pockets inside the cover that hold the records on one side and the book on the other. Condition of both records is VG++ with each record having one visible surface mark which cannot be felt and does not affect play. Condition of cover is VG+ with a two 'X's in thin red marker near the upper corners of the back cover, a little scattered age discoloration, a small worn spot at the top of the spine, some contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, or stickers. Condition of 12" x 12" book is a nice VG++with just the slightest signs of use. The original RCA Victor Records poly lined side loading inner sleeves are present and in good shape. This high quality rigid vinyl deep groove vintage 'shaded dog' Living Stereo 2 LP set would make a nice addition to any classical record collection!
