The Beatles - SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND 2017 ANNIVERSARY EDITION 2xLP 1/2 SPEED MASTER BY GILES MARTIN
There seems to be some confusion in other listings for this pressing on Ebay, so I wanted to make sure you know exactly what you're looking at here.
This is the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 2017 50th Anniversary 1/2 Speed Mastered DOUBLE ALBUM PRESSING. This pressing includes both the new stereo mix of the original Sgt. Pepper's album by Giles Martin as well as a second disc containing the Sgt. Pepper's sessions, also mixed by Giles Martin. From what I can tell, many sellers are listing the standard, single LP edition of the 2017 remaster for the price of this pressing. This pressing is much rarer and, in my opinion, a far better use of your money.
This record includes a 2 page booklet with an introduction by Paul McCartney and an in-depth discussion of the cover artwork, a recreation of the original cutout sheet, and recreations of the original di-cut inner sleeves.
The jacket is a strong VG+, with only a minor crease at the top of the front cover (pictured). Both records play at a strong VG+, with only some slight noise at the beginning of side D before the song kicks in.
The records have been deep cleaned and will ship in Mobile Fidelity inner sleeves and ultraclear outer sleeves. I will ship the records outside of the jacket to avoid seam splits during transit. Please contact me with any questions!
