Description
This is a fantastic compilation of songs from groups featured on the 'Ready Steady Go' programme from Associated-Redifuusion TV in the early 1960's. This LP was released on teh UK Decca label in 1964. It's a mono recording and the catalogue number is (LK 4577). The artists featured on the LP are Brian Polle and the Tremeloes, Heinz, The Rockin' Berries, Bern Elliott and the Fenmen, The Rolling Stones, Pete MacLaine and the Clan, The Mojos, Kathy Kirby, The Chucks, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, The Big Three, Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers and The Tornados. The flipbacksleeve which is laminated on the front shows quite a lot of wear and creasing. There is a mark along the top flipback where someone has stuck some clear tape. The rear of the cover is discoloured and therefore I have graded the sleeve as VG only. The record plays really well on both sides but there is definite surface noise. There are no jumps. The record gets a VG+ grading. The music is superb and this is a must for Rolling Stones completists.
