" REBUS " Themes by CARPI, ALESSANDRONI, NICOLAI - TAMPONI and TOMMASO. - This album is on the Italian SERMI label, number SR ST 125 (STEREO).  According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a  REBUS  is: "a representation of words or syllables by pictures of objects or by symbols whose names resemble the intended words or syllables in sound; also, a riddle made up of such pictures or symbols."  That sounds like another way to say 'programme' music or music that paints a picture = film music!   There are 12 tracks, with two by A. ALESSANDRONI; two by F. TAMPONI; one by G. TOMMASO; two by F. CARPI ( one of them a shared credit with the six by BRUNO NICOLAI.    The titles,descriptions, timings and composers can be seen in the pictures area.   The LP is in LIKE NEW condition.
