Description
The label has the address 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. 8 tracks. Leader, Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Art Taylor, drums. The name,"VAN GELDER" is inscribed in the dead wax.
Cover: VG Intact and clean. Original price is written in ink on the back cover near the top edge at the insert edge. Some wear on 1 corner. Light aging on the back cover. Gloss finished front cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 1 faint rub mark on Side A and a small number of very light brush-like surface rub marks on Side B. These do not affect the sound. Side A, Track 1, 1 light click, barely audible and 1 click during the bass solo. Track 3, 1 faint click near the beginning of the Track, barely audible and 2 or 3 very faint clicks, also, barely audible. Side B, Track 1, 3 faint clicks after mid Track, 2 slightly more audible clicks with 1 light click near the end of the Track. Track 3, 4 or 5 faint clicks during the bass solo, barely audible. Track 4, slight crackle on the last revolution. Fine overall quality. Audibly checked.
