Description
Having been out of print on vinyl for 20-plus years - a time during which their fanbase has grown exponentially - the Red House Painters’ 4AD catalogue is finally heading back to the racks.
Originally released in 1995, Ocean Beach was the last record the group released on 4AD.
Mostly performed by Mark Kozelek on his own, the minimal, unornamented, reflective and semi-acoustic songs helped to achieve the more personal album he aimed to record, capturing every sound as it happened rather than having it all changed in the mix.
Along with that record, this reformatted double-LP also includes Shock Me, a four-track EP the outfit had released a year earlier.
