Description
A very nice pressing of the Rejoice! album by Red Mitchell on Pacific Jazz Records (PJ-22 on the cover, 869 on the labels). This one also features Jim Hall, Frank Strazzeri, Jimmy Bond and Frank Butler. The label information on the back cover reads: "Pacific Jazz Records - A Subsidiary of World-Pacific Records - Hollywood, California."
The black and silver labels read "High Fidelity - Pacific Jazz." The hand-etched matrix reads "A-869" and "B24976" on side 1 and "B-869" and "B-24977" on side 2. This is a deep groove pressing.
The front cover is clean with some light ring wear and slight discoloration (along the edges). All of the corners are dinged -- the top right corner is split about two inches. There is also a couple inches of wear/splitting along the bottom corner of the spine. The back cover has some ring wear.
The vinyl is VG+ (9 out of 10, vinyl would actually look unplayed aside from a couple specs of dust and a couple surface scuff marks). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
