THE SOUL VENDORS............."CAPTAIN COJOE"/ "DRUM SONG"

A double header of two instrumental masterpieces from Brentford Road.

A galvanised iron fence rhythm, with flute, for the Captain:

 Prolonged, meditative, "ships of the desert" rhythm in Drumsong,

Jackie Mittoo riding along, mournful trumpet, conga plenty...Magic.

Clean labels still with original centre: vinyl obviously played, but

 original sheen, two of the slightest non audible surface scuffs: tiny rim chip, not intruding into run in. A good pressing, playing perfectly. EX.

A most pleasing find, treasured by one owner for forty years.
