For over 30 years Reference Recordings have been making some of the greatest sounding recordings on Earth. Engineer Prof. Keith O. Johnson, renowned for his more than 50 pioneering years of recording and equipment design, has always been at the forefront of high-resolution audio. He has engineered nearly 150 classical and jazz albums, including seven that have been nominated for and two that have won Grammys for Best Engineered Classical Recording.
Laminated gatefold record cover is in great shape. Corners are slightly dull. There are no spindle marks on the label but there is a round sticker on one side of the label. Vinyl looks like new and plays beautifully.

Review: Long out of print, this classic audiophile LP features super wide dynamics and amazing sound. The Chicago Pro Musica is a chamber music ensemble comprising solo musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, organized in 1979 by clarinetist John Bruce Yeh. Originally known as the Chicago New Music Ensemble, their goal was to introduce works of contemporary composers to Chicago and to perform 20th century masterpieces. However, they have since expanded their repertoire to also include major works of the classical and romantic chamber music literature.
