rare German first press vinyl 6LP box set released on EMI / HIS MASTERS VOICE stereo labels with nipper logo and catalognumber 1C165-30940/45. Every record is again housed in a beautiful laminated foldout cover with fantastic modern cover artwork and loads of information about the particular era's music. The heavy clothbound box and vinyl all AS NEW in perfect MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - vinyl looks UNPLAYED ... absolutely perfect. Fantastic performances recorded with true audiophile soundquality... Some important contributors to this series were Thomas Binkley and his Studio der Frühen Musik, Hans-Martin Linde and his Linde-Consort, Michel Piguet and the Ricercare-Ensemble für alte Musik in Zurich and Jordi Savall and his Hespèrion XX Ensemble at their debut. ... see photo.
