Description
**THIS IS A REALLY RARE ONE. I BOUGHT THIS FROM THE ESTATE OF FAMOUS BRITISH REGGAE JOURNALIST MICHAEL DE KONINGH AFTER HIS PASSING.**
Michael de Koningh (1958-2016) was a contemporary British music journalist specialising in Jamaican music, reggae afrobeat and afrofunk.
De Koningh wrote books, articles and reviews in UK musical magazines (Record Collector, Record Buyer, Let's Catch the Beat, Distant Drums "Echoes" "Blues & Soul") and also liner notes for reggae albums, sometimes under the name of Door Peeper. He also produced reggae compilations, and ran a mail order reggae vinyl business called Reggae Reggae Reggae.[1]
Michael died in June 2016, aged 58, unexpectedly after a short illness.

FABULOUS REGGAE/DUB ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super REGGAE SINGLE from THE MELODIANS 'WITHOUT YOU (WHAT WOULD I DO)' / THE DYNAMITES 'INSTRUMENTAL' was released on the UK ATTACK label in 1972.
It has survived with only MINIMAL surface scuffing WHICH DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY.
The LABELS are VERY GOOD PLUS WITH MINOR TIPEX ON SIDE 'A' AND THE NAME 'PATRICIA' IN INK ON SIDE 'B' (see pics for exact condition).
The SINGLE PLAYGRADES AT EXCELLENT (EX) to EX- condition and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE.
It is supplied in a new white sleeve and a poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record virtually never comes up for sale on Ebay. I grade strictly to the Rare Record Grading System and include a definition of grading below:
Rare Record Collector Grading: EX/- (EXCELLENT/MINUS)
EXCELLENT/-: Description: The record shows some minor signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. May have the occasional hint of static but not affecting the music quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
