Description
FROM MY OWN SHELVES IS THIS FABULOUS COPY OF ORIGINAL REGGAE: THIS ONE RARELY APPEARS FOR SALE. (PLEASE ALSO CHECK OUT MY OTHER REALLY RARE REGGAE/SKA/BLUE BEAT/ROCKSTEADY SINGLES).
FABULOUS REGGAE ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super SINGLE from THE VERSALITES 'CUTTING RASOR' / LEE PERRY & THE UPSETTERS 'BLACK BELT JONES' was released on the UK DIP label in 1974.
THIS IS THE UBER RARE UK ORIGINAL PRESSING FEATURING INTACT FOUR PRONG CENTRE.
It has survived with some minor surface scuffing and there is some intro background static but nothing that detracts from the music.
The LABELS are EXCELLENT with some minor age related wear and have NO Writing, Stickers or Tears (see pics for exact condition).
The SINGLE PLAYGRADES IN VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE.
It is supplied in ITS ORIGINAL DIP COMPANY SLEEVE (graded at VG- for some age related creases and damage at rear around spindle hole) and a hard card sleeve for extra protection.
This record virtually never comes up for sale on Ebay. I grade strictly to the Rare Record Grading System and include a definition of grading below:
Rare Record Collector Grading: VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS)
VERY GOOD PLUS: Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite possible noticeable surface marking and the occasional light scratch. May have some static in the intro and in quieter passages. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
