Description
Auction is for an ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRESSING of REIGN GHOST'S "SELF TITLED" LP from 1969 on Allied Records. Long sought-after and much treasured Canadian Psych Grail that needs no introduction... absolutely sublime sounds with Linda Squires sharing vocal duties alongside Bob Bryden and featuring blazing guitars alongside swirling organ and very much in the 60's West Coast style, heavy leanings into Jefferson Airplane territory. Cover has slightest ringwear on back, deletion hole at top right corner and small 1" tear on front (in between Linda Squires eyes, see photo). Still extremely presentable. As for the vinyl, well at first there doesn't appear to be that many marks and it still retains its full sheen/gloss. The problem is that the marks that are present are mostly deep and cause noise. Because there isn't a lot of them, some songs and some passages of others play fine. But there is definitely some snap, crackle and pop in the mix on others. Overall, still a decent play copy and will fill the void well until a better one comes along.
Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is VG+/VG++ / VG.
