SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:

LP SHIPPING IN THE USA:

• In the Continental US, 1 record is $6 for priority mail & each additional record is $1 extra.


• $3 for media rate mail & each additional record is 50 cents.


• Alaska and Hawaii please add $1 to total for priority, or $.50 for media mail.

LP SHIPPING FOR FOREIGN CUSTOMERS:

• Airmail postage to Canada is $6 for 1 LP, $1 each additional LP.


• Surface to Canada is $4.50 for 1 LP, $1 each additional LP.


• Airmail postage to Europe is $12 for 1 LP, $2 each additional LP.


• Airmail postage to Japan/New Zealand/Australia is $13 for 1 LP & $2 each additional LP. If you are ordering more than 6 LPs, I may have to ship via Air Parcel Post. In that case I will contact you with the correct amount of postage.

USA 7" SINGLE SHIPPING:

• $2.50 for 1 7" records by first class mail (50 cents extra for each additional 7" up to 3).

• $4.05 for 4-6 7" records via priority mail

  FOREIGN 7" SINGLE SHIPPING:

  • Airmail postage to Canada is $3 for 1 7" & $4 for 2 7" singles.
  
  
  • Airmail postage to Europe is $6.00 for 1 7" , $7.00 for 2, $8.00 for 3, $9.00 for 4, and $10 for 5-6.
  
  
  • Airmail postage to Australia/Japan/New Zealand is $6.00 for 1 7", $7.50 for 2, $9.50 for 3-4, and $11 for 5-6.
  Please note that all shipping for 7" records is based on actual postage cost plus a $1 handling fee.

  GRADING: Records are graded under a 100 watt lamp. Grades used as follows: NM (near Mint), EX (Excellent), VG+ (Very Good Plus), VG (Very Good). There will occasionally be pluses and minuses added to these grades for fine tuning. We grade conservatively; a record in VG+ condition is still a decent item, and an EX grade would be near the high end of VG+ according to the Goldmine standard. VG is where slight abuse becomes evident.

  MAILING: We ship everything in new mailers. The records are removed from the jacket to avoid seam splits. Records and jackets will be placed in plastic bags. Cardboard padding will be used when necessary to avoid bending. In short, we recognize that these are objects of art, and will make every reasonable effort to assure that they arrive at your place in the same condition they were when they left.

  INSURANCE/REGISTRATION:  Domestic orders over $50 will be charged for insurance. THIS IS NO LONGER OPTIONAL! The cost for insuring a package between $50-100 is only $2.50, and the rates go up $1 for each $100 or fraction thereof after that. Similarly, we are going to ask that all foreign orders over $100 be sent via registered mail, which costs an additional $7.50.  OVERSEAS BIDDERS PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT REGISTRATION DOES NOT INSURE YOUR RECORDS FOR THE FULL AMOUNT!  It is only a security measure, albeit a good one; I've never lost a registered package.  If you require an item to be insured for the full value, I will get you a price quote.

  A NOTE ABOUT LP SCANS: I’m sorry, but I don’t currently have access to a digital camera, so I’m only to provide these half-size (or-so) scans. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, and I will to my best to provide additional information.

  PAYMENT: We like Paypal a lot. We'll accept money orders. Payment is expected within 10 days unless other arrangements are made. After 10 days, I will send you a reminder. If I don't hear from you within 10 days after that, either to make payment or tell me what's up, you will receive negative feedback. Also: I try to get to the post office 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I only get there once.
