Description
Rare original Religious Records release from the 90’s. This copy is in excellent condition. I think this is the full show where as the recent RSD version does not contain some of these tracks. To support the 1991 release “Out Of Time,” R.E.M. traveled to Europe for a handful of promotional appearances. Having toured virtually nonstop during the ’80s, the band had no plans of doing a full fledged tour. While in London, however, they played two exclusive engagements at the Borderline under the pseudonym Bingo Hand Job. Joining Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe were special guests Billy Bragg, Robyn Hitchcock and Peter Holsapple. In the spirit of the performance, the musicians themselves adopted pseudonyms like Raoul, Spanish Charlie, The Doc, Ophelia, Violet, Conrad and Stinky. While the set drew heavily from “Out of Time,” the band performed covers by John Prine, Bob Dylan, Suzanne Vega and others.Tracklist A1 World Leader Pretend A2 Half A World Away A3 Fretless A4 The One I Love A5 Hello In There B1 My Eldest Son B2 Dallas B3 Disturbance At Heron House B4 Belong B5 Low C1 Love Is All Around C2 Radio Song C3 Pop Song 89 C4 Losing My Religion C5 Fall On Me D1 Stipe At Organ D2 Tom's Diner D3 Listening To The Higsons D4 You Ain't Going Nowhere D5 Get Up D6 Moon River
